This year, we expect the participation of Czech juniors in several international competitions. This article will introduce the nomination criteria for the Czech junior national team.
ISA World Junior Surfing Championship
From May 3rd to May 12th, 2024, another edition of the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship will take place in El Salvador at the surf spots of El Sunzal and La Bocana.
Listed Categories
The competition will take place in the following categories:
Girls under 16 years old
Boys under 16 years old
Girls under 18 years old
Boys under 18 years old
In each category, up to 3 male and female competitors, who will not reach the age of 17 (or 19) by December 31, 2024, can participate.
Nomination criteria
Competitors who wish to participate in this competition must apply for their nomination by March 1, 2024, via email at surfing@cfsup.cz. Along with their application, they must submit their sports CV and, if they have not participated in any Czech-Slovak surfing cup competitions, photographic or video material demonstrating their surfing skills.
Complete applications will be evaluated by the sports-technical committee of the Czech Surfing and SUP Federation, and the results will be communicated to the applicants before March 10, 2024.
Eurosurf Junior
During the summer holidays of 2024, most likely from July 18th to July 26th, the European Junior Surfing Championship, ESF Eurosurf Junior 2024 will take place in Santa Cruz, Portugal.

Girls under 16 years old
Boys under 16 years old
Girls under 18 years old
Boys under 18 years old
Girls Longboard under 18 years old
Boys Longboard under 18 years old
In each category, up to 3 male and female competitors (only one in the Longboard category) who will not reach the age of 17 (or 19) by December 31, 2024, can participate.
Nomination Criteria
Competitors who wish to participate in this event must submit their nomination by June 1, 2024, to the email surfing@cfsup.cz. Along with their application, applicants must also send their sports CV. Should they not have participated in any Czech-Slovak surfing cup competitions, they must provide photographic or video material demonstrating their surfing skills.
The applications will be evaluated by the sports-technical committee of the Czech Surfing and SUP Federation. In addition to the submitted applications, the committee will also assess the results and performances of the applicants at the following Czech-Slovak surfing cup competitions:
BERBER CUP - Czech & Slovak Surf Open in Sidi Ifni, Morocco, from April 15, 2024, to April 20, 2024
Quiksilver & Roxy Czech and Slovak Surfing Championship at Les Estagnots spot in Seignosse, France, from June 24, 2024, to June 28, 2024
The final nomination will be communicated to the applicants before July 1, 2024.
At the end of the year (November - December), the Eurokids Las Americas competition is scheduled to take place in Tenerife. More information and nomination criteria will be published during the year.
