Traditionally, at the end of 2022, the Czech and Slovak surfing elite will gather for the fifth edition of the Bali Big Wejf surf contest. At this event, we expect surfing at the highest level with the best Czech and Slovak surfers. The contest is also the second event of the Czech and Slovak Surfing Tour 2022/23. This year's contest is again organized by the Bali Cliff Surf Club, a Czech club founded last year by a group of fellow countrymen from Bali who are trying to build the best possible background for their children - the future of Czech surfing. In addition to the main part of the competition, in which Czech and Slovak surfers will compete for the best possible position in the Open categories, you can also look forward to the children's competition and the traditional New Year's Eve expression session at sunset with international participation, which this year will be called "Barrel Show David Fric".
As part of the registration on the organizer's website you can also book accommodation in one of the many Czech surfhouses, advanced lessons with local coaches or even regular yoga. In addition, there are many parties waiting for you in Bali.
The contest will also be the last chance to secure a spot on the national team that will represent the Czech Republic next year at the ISA World Surfing Games 2023 in El Salvador, which will also be a qualifying event for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
